Build Day 2

The start of Build Day 2, Friday, September 14, 2012.

This is how things looked in the morning of day two.  Day two was all about the roof.  Getting the trusses up was the major goal of the day.

Installing the beams for the carport! 18 feet long, 3.5 inches wide and 14 inches tall.  It took six guys to lift them into place!

 Trusses are in place.  That is a stack of siding -- already primed by some of the volunteers -- setting in the driveway.  Waiting for us to start putting them up.

Here is what the inside of the house looked like with our anything on the walls.
